Long an advocate of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration,
and collaborative law, Tom Carnes recently expanded his practice to include acting
as a mediator in business and consumer disputes. With Tom as your mediator, you
get the experience of someone who not only has the requisite mediation training,
but who has had the privilege of having participated in hundreds of mediations as
an advocate, and who has, along the way, picked up successful strategies from some
of Texas' premier mediators.
At this point, Tom is accepting mediation engagement only in non-family law matters,
in deference to his significant and continuing family law litigation practice. Having
said this, Tom hopes to eventually undertake family law mediations as well, focusing
on the collaborative law and mediation components of family law practice.
